You may enter your film into the program of Marienbad Film Festival which will take place from 28 August and 31 August. The festival will present selected film projects based on the principles of a conference. It allows the presentation of experimental works in the broadest sense. Entry is open to both finished pieces and works in progress.

Have you been introduced to the Moravian folklore by an English native speaker yet? If not, don’t worry, you’ll get a great chance soon enough.

The international music festival focused on contemporary, alternative, electronic and ambient music and its blending into other musical genres will take place on April 12 and 13 at the X10 Theater (former DUP39). Part of the festival is interaction with the visual arts.

A book titled "Anthony Philip Heinrich - American Beethoven from Krásná Lípa" was presented on Wednesday, August 29th, 2018, in Großschönau, Germany, at the music show of the same name. The author of the book – the pianist and musicologist Pavel Farsky and the choir, Krásnolipský komorní sbor, led by Mgr. Milan Sudek, played and sang compositions by A. P. Heinrich, L. van Beethoven, Thaddeus Palme, Johann Janák and Josef Groh.

Junior Glass Ways will be held in Centre of Glass Art in Sázava Town, Czech Republic from. March 3 to March 5, 2017. The event Junior Glass Ways continues in tradition of international competition Sanssouci Junior Glass Match organised by Spa Resort Sanssouci in Karlovy Vary from 2008 to 2015 where dozens of students of Czech as well as foreign schools participated. The current contest organizer is a company Ways of Glass, which aims to motivate students of fields of studies focused on artistic glass processing and to promote original glass work and art education in the field.

Nová Galerie hereby announces an open call for exhibition project proposals for an exhibition. This is applicable to individual artists, arts groups and curators. The exhibition scheme of Nová Galerie focuses mainly on the presentation of local and international contemporary art.


The music show about Anthony Philip Heinrich called "American Beethoven from Krásná Lípa" was Prague premiered on Wednesday, October 5th, 2016, at Antonín Dvořák Museum in Prague. The show was organized by the International A. P. Heinrich Society and it was held under the auspices of the senator Ing. Zbyněk Linhart and with the support of town Krásná Lípa.

The exhibition with subtitel "THE CREATIVE COMMUNICATION BY MILOTA HAVRÁNKOVÁ AND HER STUDENTS, 1972 - 2016" traces the work of photographers who studied under Professor Milota Havránková from 1972 to the present. The exhibition concept is to map the major creative shifts in their output through different periods and schools, focussing above all on the evolution of photography as a medium in the context of new developments in the visual arts.

The project is based on a meeting of 9 artists from the CR, Slovak and the other Visegrad countries and their joint work on their own works of art.
The resulting works will be placed in Ostrava for decoration of public areas.

Prague: For the public provides The Stanislav Libenský Award a chance to get to know the work of the youngest generation of glass artists from around the world in one place and at te same time this competition honours the eminent Czech glass artist.

KUNÁ HORA: On Sunday, 8 May it will have been exactly six years since the birth of the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region. Please accept our invitation and join us in celebrating this occasion at our various accompanying events.

This world’s unique exhibition of the contemporary author’s glass will take place in an  authentic atmosphere of a restored cultural monument – the glass factory František in Sázava. It will be one of the world’s largest exhibitions in terms of size and number of artists. Around 200 artworks, created by the hands of the world’s greatest glass artists during the International Glass Symposium last year in Novy Bor, will be displayed. During the exhibition,  pieces of all the 73 participants from 22 countries will be presented.
